The original building was demolished in the 1930s, and the current reinforced concrete structure was built in 1998. The latest major renovation works were completed in 2021, and the mosque was reopened for worship. During this process, Biconsilio focused particularly on the wood and wall details in the mosque's restoration, carrying out meticulous work to restore its historical texture.

All wooden doors and windows have been meticulously restored. They were renewed with expert craftsmanship in accordance with the architectural style of the period and strengthened with durable materials. Restored using traditional techniques, their original patterns and textures have been preserved. This has created an aesthetic integrity within the interior. Thanks to this restoration, the mosque has both preserved its historical character and become a structure that presents its original aesthetic value to today's visitors.
